Red Maple Festival
Celebrate the spirit of fall and Halloween in Grand Falls-Windsor with the Red Maple Festival! From October 30-November 5, enjoy a week packed with family fun, local entertainment, community events, and spooky seasonal favourites – from Trail or Treat and Halloween Storytime to the Monster Mash Night Market, free skating, and the always-popular Community Bonfire.
There’s something for everyone, so grab your costume, bring your friends, and join in the fun!

Best Decorated Halloween House & Business Contest
Show off your spooky spirit! As part of the Red Maple Festival, residents and businesses are invited to enter the Best Decorated Halloween House or Business Contest.
- Register by calling 709-489-0450. Deadline to register is October 31, 2025 at 1:00 PM
- Prizes: 1st Place – $100, 2nd Place – $75, 3rd Place – $50
- Judging: November 3, 6:00-8:00 PM
- Winners announced: November 4th at 10:00 AM on the Town’s Facebook Page
