Security/Special Events Staff (Casual)

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is seeking outgoing, community-minded citizens to assist in running various events throughout the year that are organized by our Department of Community Services. From culinary festivals to musical shows, we have a lot of events planned to appeal to all our residents. We are looking to fill our roster with the right people who are interested and have experience in the following roles:
- Event Coordinator
- Driver
- Bartender
- Cook
- Kitchen help
- Cleaner
- Server (certification required or willingness to obtain)
- Security
- Traffic Control (certification required or willingness to obtain)
- Labourer
- Mascot
Selected applicants will be provided necessary training and be required to work mostly on weekends and evenings. Pay will be at the rate of $17.56 per hour. A valid driver’s licence is required. While there are no guaranteed hours, those selected will be offered work opportunities in line with their areas of interest, experience, abilities, and availability over the course of the remainder of the year.
