Notice of Proposed Change – 222 Grenfell Heights

Town Council of Grand Falls-Windsor wishes to make a change to the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Municipal Plan and Development Regulations. In general terms, the purpose of this Municipal Plan Amendment No. 7, 2023 is to re-designate an area of land from “Commercial” to “Urban Residential” on the Future Generalized Land Use Map of the Municipal Plan; and in Development Regulations Amendment No. 10, 2023, to rezone from “Commercial Neighbourhood” to “Low and Medium Density Multi-Unit Residential” on the Land Use Zoning Map of the Development Regulations.
The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor has received a proposal to convert the empty commercial space at 222 Grenfell Heights to a 3rd residential unit.
The Town Council of Grand Falls-Windsor wishes to receive any comments or representation on these proposed changes. Anyone wishing to make a comment, objection, or representation should submit a signed statement outlining their concerns to the Development Department, Town Hall, 5 High Street, P.O. Box 439, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, A2A 2J8, or email planning@townofgfw.com by Noon, Tuesday, December 13, 2023.
