Integrated Community Sustainability Municipal Plan Amendment No. 27, 2026 & Development Regulations Amendment No. 35, 2026
The Town Council of Grand Falls-Windsor wishes to make an amendment to the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, 2022-2032.
The Town has received a proposal for commercial development for a site located north of the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Scott Avenue and south of Grenfell Heights. The purpose of these amendments is to re-designate and rezone lands from Comprehensive Development Area to Commercial Highway. This amendment is intended to facilitate the orderly development of commercial uses located on the site near the Trans Canada Highway. These amendments support broader community and economic development objectives for the benefit of the overall Town.
The Town Council of Grand Falls‐Windsor wishes to receive any comments or representation on these proposed changes. Anyone wishing to make a comment, objection, or representation should submit a signed statement outlining their concerns to the Public Works & Development Department, Town Hall, 5 High Street, P.O. Box 439, Grand Falls‐Windsor, NL, A2A 2J8, or email planning@townofgfw.com by Friday June 26th, 2026.
