GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL –The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is pleased to announce that the Perfectly Centered Gymnastics program will transition to private management under the leadership of its current manager, Ashley Crewe. As part of this transition, Ms. Crewe will lease existing gymnastics equipment and the Town’s space at 44 Hardy Avenue, ensuring the program’s continuity and future growth.
Originally launched by Ms. Crewe in 2017 with the Town’s support, the gymnastics program quickly became a popular recreational offering for citizens in Grand Falls-Windsor.
The Town Council is delighted to have played a role in the program’s start-up and is now pleased to transition the program to this new format. As the Town does not directly operate any other recreational programs on a year-round basis, it has been the Town’s intention from the gymnastics program’s inception to transition it to a private operation or a community-led organization. Today, the Town is pleased to share that this sport is continuing uninterrupted with all its normal programs and all the necessary coaching expertise, but at no future cost to the Town.
Ms. Crewe has successfully managed the program on behalf of the Town for the past eight years, demonstrating the required commitment. Her leadership from the beginning has helped establish Perfectly Centered Gymnastics as one of the top programs of its kind in the province.
