SEWER WORK NOTICE – August 24-28, 2026

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor would like to advise residents that Afonso Contracting has been retained to conduct CCTV inspections of the sanitary sewer infrastructure in the Poplar Road area. Inspection is to occur between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM from Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28, 2026.
The purpose of this work is to assess the condition of underground sewer mains using specialized camera equipment.
The Town appreciates the cooperation and patience of residents during this important infrastructure assessment project.
What residents can expect:
- CCTV inspection crews working on streets and around manholes within the project area
- Temporary traffic disruptions or minor delays may occur while work is being completed
- Residents may notice service vehicles and equipment operating in the area
- No interruption to normal sewer service is anticipated
- Residents within the service boundary are asked to conserve water during inspection
