Operation Fiona Relief

If you have non-perishable food items, clothes or supplies you would like to donate to those effected by Hurricane Fiona, here is a way to get it there!
Guardian Transport, a Spaniard’s Bay-based trucking company, in coordination with WINK & the Salvation Army in Corner Brook and Port aux Basques, has arranged a transport truck to collect donated supplies and clothing for the hurricane-ravaged southwest coast of Newfoundland.
The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor will be accepting donations at Shanawdithit Centennial Field on Wednesday (Sept 28th) from 2:00-4:15 PM to pass along to Guardian Transport.
The following items are needed (see below for more specific items):
Water, toilet paper, blankets, personal hygiene products (toothbrushes/paste, diapers, soap, deodorant, shaving kits, feminine hygiene products, etc)
Baby food, non-perishable food items, new and used clean clothes (undergarments including socks, underwear, bras, etc. must be new)
If you have new or used clothing, please send items in boxes labelled with the clothing size on the outside of the box.

- Tylenol/Advil

- Shampoo/conditioner
- Body wash & bar soap & hand soap
- Deodorant (m/f)

- Q-tips
- Wet and dry dog/cat food
- Wood pellets
- Kitty Litter
- Litter pans
- Pet carriers/ kennels
- Pet food
- Men’s toiletries – razors, shaving cream
- Children’s toiletries
- Men’s footwear sized 9-9.5
- Household cleaning supplies
