The Town Council of Grand Falls-Windsor has adopted Municipal Integrated Community Sustainability Plan Amendment No. 16, 2025 and Development Regulations Amendment No. 21, 2025 (Toulett Drive – Ogilvie Street).
In general terms, the purpose of this Municipal Plan Amendment No. 16, 2025 is to redesignate this parcel of land from “Natural Open Space”, “Commercial” and “Public Use” to “Urban Residential” and in the Development Regulations Amendment No. 21, 2025 to re-zone from “Conservation”, “Commercial General”, “Public Use” and “Single Unit Urban Residential (RS-3)” to “Residential RM-2 High Density Multi-Unit Residential Zone”.
A Public Hearing to consider objections and representations on the Municipal Integrated Community Sustainability Plan and Development Regulations will be held on the July 21, 2025 at the Fire Hall in the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor at 7 p.m. Parking is available on the Public Works Depot side on Bayley Street.
Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation shall deposit with the Town Clerk of Grand Falls-Windsor, two copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation not fewer than 2 days before the date set for the public hearing. If no objection is made, Council has the authority to cancel the public hearing. Please note that any objections or concerns must be submitted as stated here; those posted solely on social media will not be considered.
