Notice of Proposed Change – 1 St. Catherine Street

Town Council of Grand Falls-Windsor wishes to amend the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, 2022- 2032.
The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor received a request to redesignate and rezone a parcel of land at 1 St. Catherine Street, the location of the former Millcrest Academy for the purpose of constructing a Commercial Neighbourhood (CN) development of a medical office/clinic; and a residential development. Existing structures will be removed and replaced with new buildings.
The purpose of these amendments is to redesignate land at 1 St. Catherine Street from Public Use (PU) to Commercial (COM) and Urban Residential (RES) and from Urban Residential to Commercial (COM) and to rezone a portion of Public Use (PU) to Commercial Neighborhood (CN) and Low and Medium Density Multi-Unit Residential (RM-1) and from Low and Medium Density Multi-Unit Residential (RM-1) to Commercial Neighborhood (CN).
The Town Council of Grand Falls-Windsor wishes to receive any comments or representation on these proposed changes. Anyone wishing to make a comment, objection, or representation should submit a signed statement outlining their concerns to the Development Department, Town Hall, 5 High Street, P.O.
