FLUSHING NOTICE – February 25, 2026

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor will be flushing a hydrant on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the area of Elm Street from approximately 8:30 AM-4:00 PM. This may also affect residents on Birch Street, Memorial Avenue, Greenwood Avenue, and Maple Street.
This work is being done after routine testing showed naturally occurring iron levels above the recommended aesthetic limit. Please note this is not a safety concern – the water remains safe.
Flushing is a standard process that helps reduce minerals in the system and maintain water quality. Some residents may notice temporary changes in water colour or pressure during this time.
