FLUSHING NOTICE – April 16, 2026

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor will be flushing a hydrant on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the area of Birch Street, Memorial Avenue, and Greenwood Avenue from approximately 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. This may affect all areas south of the TCH.
This work is being done after routine testing showed naturally occurring iron levels above the recommended aesthetic limit. Please note this is not a safety concern – the water remains safe.
Flushing is a standard process that helps reduce minerals in the system and maintain water quality. Some residents may notice temporary changes in water colour or pressure during this time.
