Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Party
The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor will be hosting a Solar Eclipse Viewing Party at the Exploits Nordic Ski Chalet on Monday, April 8th from 4:00-6:00 PM.
ISO Certified solar eclipse viewing glasses will be provided – limited quantities.
Hot chocolate and popcorn will be served free of charge.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to receive viewing glasses. Participants must sign a waiver before receiving viewing glasses.

SOLAR ECLIPSE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
- Be certain that your viewing glasses are ISO 12312-2 international standard certified.
- Regular sunglasses are not enough to protect your eyes.
- Be sure your viewing glasses are on and your eyes protected before looking up at the eclipse phases.
- The arms of your viewing glasses should fit over your ears and the lenses cover your eyes completely.
- If you wear glasses, the viewing glasses must be worn over your eye glasses.
- Do not look directly at the sun for long periods of time. Look for just a few seconds at a time and only while wearing approved safety eclipse viewing glasses.
