Ride the River’s Edge Gravel Ride

It’s the 2nd annual Ride the River’s Edge Gravel Bike Ride in Grand Falls-Windsor! Following the success of the inaugural ride in 2024, we are thrilled this year to offer participants the opportunity to choose between a 50 KM or 90 KM gravel ride through scenic Central Newfoundland!

This is not your average bike ride! This is an opportunity to test your mettle as you tackle challenging terrain through forests along the magnificent Exploits River, and across picturesque trails where, if the ride doesn’t take your breath away, the beauty of the area certainly will!

Riders check in on Saturday, June 7th, at 9:00 AM at the Corduroy Brook Nature Centre with a race start time of 10:00 AM. Bibs/Numbers, race tags, and insurance will be provided with online registration at the link below. Registration costs are $75 plus tax for the 50 KM ride and $125 plus tax for the 90 KM ride.

There will be two feed stations during the 90 KM ride, and one during the 50 KM ride.

Registration also includes a BBQ and gift bag following the ride and a fun After-Party at The Terrace Pub and Patio during the evening of June 7th! The After-Party will feature live music, your first drink for free, and prizes to be won throughout the night!

Planning to bring your spouse and kiddos? Wonderful! We have fun stuff for them as well! Join us for a free Friday night Concert in the Park at Church Road Park with live music and our always popular bouncy castles! On Race Day, weather permitting, enjoy the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail and take part in a fun, self-paced, scavenger hunt on Gibson’s Field!

This year we are also introducing a free youth fun ride for any children who would like to take part. The fun ride will be a self-paced, marked trail ride on the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail and children will receive a loot bag of goodies when they complete the fun ride and return to the Corduroy Brook Nature Centre.
