Christmas Park Lighting

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – our PERFECTLY CENTERED CHRISTMAS PARK LIGHTING!

On Friday, December 1st, 2023, we will be ringing in the Christmas season at Church Road Park, with live entertainment, a family scavenger hunt, and our Christmas Hut which will be serving FREE refreshments, including turkey vegetable soup with pasta, homemade chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate**, and popcorn!

In the festive spirit of giving, personal care items (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, etc.) will be collected by Y2C and Status of Women Central (SOWC) at the Marathon Gold truck just outside of Church Road Park and will be shared between the Y2C and the SoWC.

Many thanks to Marathon Gold for their sponsoring of our park lighting and the use of their truck to collect the donations! Let’s fill it up!

Make sure to bring your letter for Santa’s Mailbox, and an ornament to hang on our Community Tree!

Event will begin at 6:00 PM. Please be sure to dress for the weather.

Please note:
– Church Road will be closed to traffic due to the park lighting.
– Mascots will NOT be on-site for this event – Santa will be too busy preparing for our Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 2nd!

**In an effort to be more environmentally responsible, we kindly ask that you bring your own mug for hot chocolate.
