The Department of Transportation & Works would like to notify the Public, the bridge spanning the Exploits River behind the former paper mill property in Grand Falls-Windsor will be closed on October 20th from 7 am to 5 pm with the exception of a one hour period from 12 to 1 pm where vehicles will be accommodated. The purpose for this closure is to complete the repairs to the bridge which was damaged as the result of an accident in January.

The Public Works Department would like to advise residents of a water shut off in the following areas: Lincoln Road, from The Mount Peyton to Brides Store, Poplar Road, Willow Road and Birch Street from civic numbers 1-15. This interruption in your water services will take place Wednesday, September 21st from 1:00 - 5:00pm. The reason for this is to repair a main waterline in that area.
