Second Ave: Water & Sewer Replacement Phase II

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor have recently awarded the Second Ave: Water & Sewer Replacement Phase II to W. Reid’s Construction Ltd.  Work is scheduled to commence in late May or early June when conditions are favourable.  This letter is to inform you that the construction is expected to take place over a three month period.

The section of Second Avenue that will be affected is from Mulrooney Avenue to Whitmore Street, at which time there will be some sections closed to vehicular traffic daily.  There may also be some interruptions in services for Second Avenue and the surrounding areas.  The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor will work closely with the contractor to try and minimize the impact on its residents.  Although an inconvenience, it is a necessity so we can improve the current services that exist in this area.

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you in advance for your cooperation on this matter.

Along with all of the winners, the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor would like to congratulate all of the nominees for the Civic Awards. Attached is the list of all of those that were nominated and continue to contribute to our great community.
