The Town is currently flushing lines in the areas of Grenfell Estates, Grenfell Heights, Ireland Drive, Crawley Avenue, Finn Avenue, Brown Avenue and Hardy Avenue area. These flushing will take place late in the evening.

Nalcor has announced that due to the heavy rains last week, Red Indian Lake is approaching full and they will be releasing water. We should expect higher than normal levels of water in areas such as the boat launch at Gorge Park over the next week to ten days.

The North Lakeshore Chorus is a choir from Ontario, which is touring the province performing at various war memorials in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Beaumont-Hamel. The mini-sings at NL war memorials are brief stops yet very poignant.

The choir will be performing a mini-sing at the Grand Falls-Windsor war memorial on Friday, July 8 at 10:00am. Everyone is invited to drop by the Memorial Grounds at 10am this Friday morning.
